Nothing super interesting today, really. I cleaned the bathroom! I did a bunch of lines on the blanket! That's about all though, hahaha.

Not entirely sure how it got so late, though... It was only 2 last I checked... :/

Finished the first direction! AND started the next direction, which includes removing the basting as I go!

Aaaaa it looks SO NICE with the diamonds, I'm so pleased!!! :D :D :D

Current thinking is whether or not I add the scale details will depend on the weather, more than anything - yesterday was warm enough I was thinking I might be wishing I had it instead of my doona, but there was a cool change, and today is uh. Well. Early winter temperatures again. So if it's still cold once I get to the end, I'll probably add the details, and if not I'll go straight to doing the border so I can use it.

Can always add the details later, anyway, so it's no big deal either way really! I think I will add them at some point, unless something super weird happens and I run out of thread. (Chances of that: extremely low.)

Other than that... Mama bought a rug today? Cats are extremely interested in this, mainly in the scratching department... Luckily Mama realised this would be the case and it's a cheap, acrylic rug, so while it'll be annoying if they destroy it at least it won't be expensive....

Woke up today WITHOUT my head feeling like blek! It was great!

I'm still easily tired, and recovering in that way, but the actual headcold part of this is all but over, which is so nice. I did washing! I was able to actually hang it all out AND bring it inside! AND I went for a (short) walk with Mama as well. :D :D :D

I also did three more lines on the blanket, and then I stopped because if I'd kept going I would've kept going until I finished this direction, and I would've ended up working on it until 2am or something. Given the time, I probably should have just done that anyway, rather than going 'hmm it's only 10:30, let's play Minecraft for a bit then'. Whoops. >>;; I tried?

Anyway, will definitely finish this direction tomorrow, which is great! :D May or may not start the next direction, it'll depend on how long it takes and how I feel. Still, exciting!!! :D

I actually slept last night! It was SO GREAT, and I had SO MUCH MORE BRAIN today!!!

However, still not actually over this shit, and felt kinda crappy at times. But so much better than yesterday omfg. I did nap a lot though, I'm still somewhat sleep deprived.

But even so I did three more lines on the blanket, so this direction will be done SOON. Sooooon. It's so close to done!!! (And then I got distracted and suddenly 3am and aaaargh. Whoops.)

But now back to bed with me, yes! >:

I think I'm starting to get better! Hopefully, anyway.

I had a little extra energy this afternoon, so I thought I'd do some work on the blanket... but stretching it out and drawing a couple of lines on absolutely wiped me out, which isn't. Actually. That encouraging.

But! After I napped for a while and had dinner I was able to actually do the stitching! It's definitely easier than the drawing, which is... well, Mama thinks it might be all the leaning over and stuff that was exhausting? Not sure, but hey, it's something!

I'm also less stuffed up, which IS a good sign! Not sure if it's because I keep forgetting to drink, though... Still, hopefully my nose will heal a bit if I'm not blowing it every two seconds...

And I'm up later than I meant to be because reading, mostly, hahaha. But still! I feel less exhausted than I did last night, which I'm hoping is a good sign!

I continue to feel like crap and also be unable to sleep.

It is very frustrating.

Here's hoping staying up longer will maybe??? Make me able to actually fall asleep properly??? I doubt it but at this point it's worth a try.

Still sick!!! It sucks. Still haven't been sleeping properly, either, which I'm guessing is part of the problem! :/ Bodies, why.

I did have a brainwave and realise that the library probably had ebooks of tkingfisher's, so I read A Sorceress Comes To Call today. Not my favourite of hers, but definitely fun! (Not sure what my fav is, but probably Digger. Hard to say! The romance side-plots in a lot of her adult novels leave me fairly puzzled, is the thing, and this one had a lot of them. This is of course an ace-aro thing and not a reflection on her writing!)

Really not much other than that, though. Did do better about laying down a lot, which the reading is very helpful for, so I've had some more energy, but I doubt that's going to translate into being able to sleep so... Bleh.

Yup, definitely sick. It sucks!

It's not bad but it's gross in a 'can't concentrate on anything' sort of way. Very annoying. Sitting up long enough for my hair to dry was also pretty difficult, but at least I'm cleanish now. (Do not stay totally clean for any length of time given the nose, bleh.)

Anyway, back to bed for me! I slept really badly last night which is weird for me when I'm sick, so I guess we'll see how that goes...? Bodies, why so annoying.

Probably have a headcold, it's very annoying. :/

But! I did do four lines on the blanket today, which is pretty good! :D One of the three panels is TOTALLY DONE for this direction!!!! Very exciting, yesssss. More tomorrow!

Nothing huge today either, though I did go for a walk with Mama. One of my stupid clickypet sites keeps going down though, which is annoying.

Yeah, slept most of today. But!!! I finished the varigated thread! On the last of the max length lines, too, so I'm on the downward stretch for this direction! \o/

Um. Lots of halloween events in stupid games I play, which I guess is nice?? Do like that dragcave has jigsaw puzzles this year, I do like them. :)

Anyway, back to bed for me! Yes.

Spent most of the day with A, which was very fun! :D Didn't do anything spectacular, but I did get some snacks, nomnomnom :V

Went on a walk with Mama this afternoon, and we saw so many goddamn rabbits. Had to have been at least twenty, though some might have been doubles (since we walked for a while and then back again). Just so many. UGH.

Really need them eradicated but of course it's difficult what with trapping being illegal (too high risk of getting something similarly-sized but native), and it being too goddamn dangerous to shoot them in this particular patch of parkland. I feel like an obvious solution is live-trapping and letting go anything other than ferals, but then you've got the problem of what to do with all the corpses, which given selling wild-harvested meat is also illegal is... difficult... SIGH.

Anyway it sucks. I should definitely look into it more though, might be something I can get involved in maybe??? Dunno. Have put it on the to-do list, but not right now I need to go to bed.

Between that and the fact I really needed to shower since I'm meeting A tomorrow, I only got one line done on the blanket, but that's still better than nothing! >: It's another max length line, too! Got another two chalked out, too, and it's still not quite at the point of getting smaller, but SOON. Yes. >:

Almost out of varigated thread, too; done with all the stuff that I bought, so I've just got... well technically four more threads, but I've only got a tiny bit left of one since I used most of it today, so it's more like three. May or may not get finished with them tomorrow! :O :O :O Then to solids, yes. I have. Many many solids to get through hahahaha. No chance I'll use everything up with this project, nope.

Other than that, pretty quiet day. Did some cleaning of various routine types. No work on the chook run thing, due to weather again.
